Closing Curtains

Finally, curtains closing
Another day has ended
Times spent chasing dreams under thr yellow sun.
There has never been this much sorrow in his voice.
Tales they’ve been through,
Tales he sings of friendships that lastet longer than the leaves.
Cannot explain the world falling apart.
Trying to let go, like nothing lasts forever.
His warm heart beating to keep him from cold while he walks in the mist
There has never been this much sorrow in his voice.
Yet he walks on.
Scarves tied for the winter run.
Finally, curtains closing
Another day has ended
